Today, Congressman Luke Messer gave the following statement on yesterday's Supreme Court rulings:

"I am disappointed in yesterday's Supreme Court ruling. The people should set marriage policy, not activist judges.

The debate over marriage will continue, and it is my hope that states will define marriage as the union between one man and one woman."
